We are pleased to announce the arrival of Cook Lane IPA from the Taylor Made range of special beers. Named after the site of Timothy Taylor’s first brewery in Keighley, the Taylor’s brewers have created a best in class modern IPA using aromatic English grown Cascade and Chinook hops. On draught with us until early June, the beer is less harsh and more gentle in flavour profile than many of the extreme, hoppy IPAs currently flooding the market.
Over the coming weeks and months we will be working with our new head chef, Paul Cunliffe, and matching all of our Taylor’s beers with new dishes from our menus. However just as a taster, the juicy tropical flavours of the Cook Lane IPA complement Thai and Vietnamese influenced dishes beautifully and tone down the heat of these spicy dishes. Chinook hops are fantastic with rich fish dishes, their juicy flavours are an ideal contrast to fish, the zesty citrus notes in the beer cutting through oily fish and add a touch of acidity. Be sure to ask for Cook Lane at the bar, we hope you enjoy it.
